Sixteen Bangladeshis have received the Chevening Scholarship Award to study in the UK this academic year, a big increase compared to four last year.
The British High Commission said High Commissioner Robert Gibson hosted a reception for them at his residence on Wednesday.
Chevening is the UK government’s flagship international programme that allows “future leaders, influencers and decision-makers from around the world to learn, build on their experience and unleash their potential”, the High Commissioner said.
